Mission Accomplished: Nerd Days 1.0

Nerd Days 1.0 was an interactive, virtual event organized by New Relic to help engineers and developers learn about building efficient software solutions and automation techniques in a year where in-person gatherings were not possible. The event featured numerous sessions, including keynote announcements such as the launch of New Relic's "Observability for Good" program, which aims to assist NGOs and nonprofits through product donations, and a partnership with Code for America to provide free access to New Relic One for developing new applications and services. Attendees could also engage with a panel of experts discussing the future of DevOps and serverless technologies, as well as participate in breakout sessions on topics like cloud migration, open source integration, and DevOps journeys. The event, spearheaded by Jemiah Sius, Director of Developer Relations at New Relic, emphasized community engagement and learning opportunities, with additional events planned for the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.
