Introducing New Relic Agentic Platform

New Relic has introduced the New Relic Agentic Platform, now in preview, to address the evolving needs of observability in AI-driven and autonomous systems. Unlike traditional observability methods which rely on passive reporting and manual correlation of telemetry data, the Agentic Platform offers a continuous understanding of system behavior by analyzing relationships across services and maintaining context in real-time. This approach is intended to support both human operators and intelligent agents by providing a platform-level intelligence layer that connects telemetry with operational context, thus reducing the complexity and manual effort required for troubleshooting and decision-making. The platform does not replace existing tools but aims to integrate them into a cohesive system that enhances visibility and control as software systems become increasingly autonomous.
