New Relic has introduced several innovations to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) for detecting, diagnosing, and mitigating issues faster, known as AIOps. The company's expanded anomaly detection allows for smarter, easier alerting and issue mapping, providing context and analysis needed to quickly understand and mitigate issues. Intelligent detection can now be applied to nearly any entity in New Relic with just a few clicks, reducing mean time to detect (MTTD). Additionally, the company has introduced dynamic baseline alerting, which allows for easy creation of custom alert conditions that cover all services and infrastructure, making it easier for teams to add alert coverage. The new features also include issue maps, incident analysis, and recommendations for relevant dashboards, providing context and insights needed to solve issues quickly.
