As a platform quality engineer at Nexthink, my team and I own releases for the core product suite, which placed us at the heart of the company's migration to the cloud in 2020. We partnered with New Relic to transform our delivery model and overall offering with real-time observability, approximately 80% of our business now being in the cloud. Nexthink Infinity is a human-centric data platform designed to increase employee productivity and satisfaction by quantifying user experience via diagnostics. The company migrated to the cloud to improve scalability and reduce server configuration needs, adopting a lift-and-shift approach instead of rebuilding from scratch. New Relic helps us access data quickly through dashboards and NRQL, enabling real-time analysis and pinpointing problems. This has improved internal communication, enabled proactive issue response, and paved the way for DevOps by reducing risk and increasing continuous delivery. The company's culture also shifted to a more agile approach, with instant releases and constant application updates, allowing developers to focus on meaningful tasks and deliver value faster.
