Netlify is introducing a new credit-based pricing model designed to accommodate the rapid pace of AI development workflows, offering plans that are simple, transparent, and scalable. Existing customers can stay on their current plans without any mandatory changes, while new options, such as a Personal plan at $9 per month and an updated Pro plan at $20 per month, provide flexible choices. Credits cover five usage categories—production deploys, compute, forms, bandwidth, and web requests—allowing developers to track a single primary metric without managing numerous metrics or hidden costs. This change aims to support the evolving landscape of web development, where AI accelerates the speed and diversity of project iteration, by offering straightforward pricing that adapts to individual and team needs. The credit system facilitates unlimited experimentation and predictable production costs, catering to both novice and experienced developers.
