Netlify has announced its "Agent Week", a week-long event focused on making building and deploying with AI agents efficient and effective for any stack and application. The company aims to create the shortest path from an agent-written prompt to a live URL, providing infrastructure specifically designed for AI-generated code to test, deploy, and run what they create. Netlify has rethought its platform through the lens of "Agent Experience" (AX), a holistic experience AI agents have as users of a product or platform, which was previously defined by CEO Matt Biilmann earlier this year. The company will unveil new capabilities designed to help developers work with AI agents over the next four days, including local dev meets platform, direct line to Netlify, fullstack applications, and security measures to keep up with AI codegen. Agent Week represents Netlify's commitment to creating infrastructure for the AI-assisted development era, turning AX theory into practice and enabling developers to build faster than ever before.
