Encore and Neon have partnered to support the development and deployment of AI-generated applications, with Encore focusing on simplifying the deployment of production infrastructure and Neon providing advanced database solutions. Encore's new offering, Leap, is a full-stack agent designed for developers to create applications that can be deployed on real cloud infrastructure through Encore Cloud, without being confined to proprietary platforms. Leap allows developers to define infrastructure using Go or TypeScript, and applications can be built, tested, and deployed in Encore’s preview environments before going live on AWS or GCP. Neon enhances this process by offering branching capabilities for Postgres databases, enabling quick and efficient creation of preview environments that mirror production settings. This collaboration ensures that applications are production-ready, with tools for real-time code editing, GitHub integration, and comprehensive testing.
