Neon Autoscaling is Generally Available
Blog post from Neon
Neon Autoscaling is now generally available for all Neon databases, including the free plan. This feature automatically adjusts CPU and memory based on workload, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency. It eliminates the need for manual server resizing and prevents budget waste from overprovisioning. The autoscaling algorithm is deeply integrated into Neon's architecture, which natively decouples storage and compute. This feature enables Neon databases to autoscale in milliseconds without requiring users to wait for VMs to scale up or down.
