Mux Robots made our video editor’s life easier
Blog post from Mux
Mux has introduced a Mux Robots plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro that brings AI-driven video analysis and localization tools directly into an editor’s timeline. The plugin converts Mux Robots workflow outputs, which are normally delivered as JSON for developers, into timeline markers for generated chapters, key moments, scenes, and shots, helping editors identify and navigate relevant footage without manually adding timestamps. It can sequence dependent workflows through Mux Directives, such as generating captions before using them to create chapters or identify key moments. The plugin also supports translated audio dubbing and caption generation in multiple languages, placing audio tracks on the timeline and captions in Premiere Pro’s Media Browser. It is available through Adobe Creative Cloud’s Stock & Marketplace and requires a Mux Token ID and secret to run jobs.
