Highlight what matters: Introducing Annotations in Mux Data

Mux has introduced a new feature called Annotations to enhance its data analytics platform, enabling users to tag specific moments within their Metrics, Monitoring, Errors, and Engagement dashboards. This tool allows users to add notes at precise timestamps to provide context and insight into events like deployments, viral content, or live events, thereby improving clarity and coordination among team members. Annotations, which have been highly requested by customers managing observability in dynamic environments, are accessible through the dashboard interface or via API, offering a simple way to mark, edit, or delete significant events up to 13 months in the past and 14 days in the future. This feature is designed to increase shared visibility within organizations without the need for additional documentation, and it is available to all Mux customers.
