Mux's webhook infrastructure is frequently discussed due to its ability to proactively notify users about changes in assets and live streams. However, customers often ask how to validate that these notifications are from Mux. To address this concern, Mux has added a unique signing secret for each webhook, which can be used to verify the origin of requests and ensure no tampering with messages. This security feature is now available in all webhooks, including existing ones.
