The MongoDB company has partnered with the Technology Ireland initiative, known as Women ReBOOT, to address the gender imbalance in the technology workforce. The program aims to support women who have been out of the workforce for some time and provides eLearning courses, mentored work placements, monthly seminars, and one-on-one coaching to help update technology skills and build confidence. MongoDB Technical Services Engineer Clare Scally participated in the initiative by speaking to a group about her experience working as a full-time mother and woman in tech, highlighting the importance of self-assurance and support. Two participants, Angela Morgan and Mary Gorman, joined the program through their husbands' connections and leveraged the e-learning courses to refresh their skills before being hired by MongoDB as Cloud Support Associates on the Technical Services team, demonstrating the program's effectiveness in attracting highly skilled women back into the workforce.
