New to MongoDB Atlas — Full CRUD Support in Data Explorer | MongoDB Blog`
MongoDB Atlas, a fully managed database service, allows developers to interact with their data more easily by introducing full CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) support in the embedded Data Explorer. This feature enables users to manipulate their data directly within the Atlas UI, with new Project-level roles and permission levels added to control access. The updated Data Explorer also includes a visual editor for modifying documents, inserting new ones, and performing other operations, with all actions tracked in the Atlas Activity Feed for visibility and auditing purposes. The feature is currently available on M10 Atlas clusters and higher, but has been expanded to all MongoDB Atlas tiers, including the free M0 tier, allowing developers to deploy a free database cluster and start using the Data Explorer immediately.
