New MMS Backup Feature: Exclude Databases and Collections allows users to fine-tune their backups by excluding non-critical data sets such as logging, caching or analytics databases and collections from backup. This feature provides users with more control over their backups and costs, enabling them to focus on mission-critical data. Users can add excluded namespaces to the list at any time and pre-emptively exclude items that don't yet exist, ensuring their backup strategy and budget align with their needs.
