MongoDB’s Sales Development Career Day is an invite-only event where candidates learn about the company culture, meet with sales leaders and interview with other team members. The event was highly successful in both Austin and Dublin, resulting in 15 hires in total, with 8 of those being made in Dublin just 24 hours after the event, and 7 out of 9 in Austin accepting job offers the next day. The company looks for candidates who are passionate about sales and technology, have drive and curiosity to learn and grow. The event provides valuable learning experiences for the new hires, as well as a stronger onboarding and ramp-up period due to team bonding that occurred during the event.
