MongoDB Presents an Evening With Eliot Horowitz and Stitch` is a presentation by MongoDB co-founder and CTO Eliot Horowitz on the benefits and capabilities of MongoDB Stitch, a backend as a service that provides flexibility in database and surrounding landscapes. Eliot demonstrated the power of Stitch in two projects: one for adding commenting capabilities to a blog and another for creating a facial recognition security system using IoT devices such as cameras, deadbolts, and smart switches. The presentation highlighted how Stitch can save developers hours of development time by alleviating the need to build boilerplate integration code between apps and databases or essential third-party services.
