MongoDB 1.4 Ready for Production` The MongoDB team is excited to announce the release of MongoDB 1.4.0, which has undergone thorough testing and validation through regressions systems and real user feedback. The update includes core server enhancements, concurrency improvements, indexing memory improvements, and better detection of regular expressions. Additionally, replication and sharding have been improved with features such as configurable slave delay, replication handling clock skew on master, and 2-phase commit on config servers for sharding alpha 3.
