MMS Release Notes , January 27 2015 | MongoDB Blog MongoDB released Ops Manager 1.6, which includes automation, a Windows build with backup and monitoring capabilities, an Automation API, and will be released alongside MongoDB 3.0. This release also introduced several new automation features, including AWS cross-account access during server provisioning, EBS encrypted volumes and EPS optimized instances, and support for c4 instance types. The Monitoring and Backup agents were also updated to improve performance and logging capabilities. Additionally, 2-Factor Authentication is now optional for users, allowing them to try out the MongoDB Management Service without sharing their phone number.
