MMS Automation now allows importing existing deployments to automate long and complicated manual processes, providing benefits such as single-click operations. To import an existing deployment, you must meet certain requirements, including having a Monitoring Agent and MongoDB authentication configured. The process involves selecting the item to import, gathering information about its current state, and then reviewing and deploying changes. If issues arise during the process, you can always unmanage any items from your deployment. MMS Automation agents will initiate a rolling restart of new processes after receiving the updated configuration, resulting in a "Goal state" once complete.
