Maria van Keulen, a rising senior at Columbia Engineering, is an intern with the CAP Team on Performance Tooling at MongoDB. She has been involved in various activities at school, including tech officer of the Anime club and webmaster of the Columbia Neuroscience Society. Maria returned to MongoDB for her second internship due to its strong program and supportive managers. At work, she spends most of her time thinking about and testing profiling tool cases that cause performance fluctuations, checking-in with her mentor, and enjoying office events like Seamless lunches and trips to Six Flags. Maria loves the sense of community at MongoDB and is passionate about learning new tools and techniques to improve her project.
