Jason Brooks, a rising Junior at Yale University majoring in Computer Science, is an Engineering Intern on the Internal Tools team at MongoDB. He was drawn to the company after hearing about it at a hackathon and wanting to work on an open-source project. At MongoDB, he works on creating a central aggregator for internal events, interacts with other teams, and learns from the training program. Despite challenges, Jason is passionate about his role and hopes to push out his project to the entire company, seeing it used by all employees. In his free time, he enjoys playing jazz bass and reading books like "Delivering Happiness" by Tony Hseih.
