Benjamin Murphy, a rising sophomore at Brown University, spent his internship at MongoDB working on the Education Team for both MongoDB University and In-Person Training. He designed and implemented new components for the backend of MongoDB University, redesigned the courseware using React and Flux frameworks, and is currently working on reimplementing the MongoDB Web Shell to make it more maintainable and similar to the actual shell. Murphy was drawn to MongoDB's internship program due to its challenging real-world projects and progressive company culture. He enjoys his work on the Education Team and appreciates the relaxed atmosphere of the office, where he can collaborate with knowledgeable and fun colleagues.
