Carolina Obregon, a rising senior at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, is interning at MongoDB's New York City office. She joined the company through its internship program and was drawn to its engineering-centric culture and commitment to diversity and company culture. During her internship, she worked on building a quiz widget for MongoDB documentation and gained exposure to start-to-finish software development cycles. She found meaningful support from her team and MongoDB's Underrepresented Genders in Tech (UGT) Affinity Group, which provided a sense of community and connection with other underrepresented interns and employees.
