How Accenture’s Data Modernizer Tool Accelerates the Modernizing of Legacy and Mainframe Apps to MongoDB

MongoDB and Accenture have partnered to provide a modernization tool that accelerates the process of migrating legacy and mainframe applications to MongoDB. The tool, called Data Modernizer, analyzes access logs and relational schema from Oracle and DB2 databases, providing critical insights before development activities begin. It combines modeling patterns, best practices, and confidence levels to predict the accuracy of suggested data models. This enables companies to modernize their operations more efficiently, with on average 50% faster data modeling and 80% data model accuracy. The tool is part of MongoDB's Modernization Initiative and Accenture's mainframe offload and cloud modernization efforts.
