MongoDB has introduced Encryption at Rest, a feature available for MongoDB Enterprise users with the WiredTiger Storage Engine. This feature enables encryption of data at rest on cloud servers using Cloud Manager and Automation. A MongoDB Enterprise Advanced subscription is required to use this feature in production.
