Brendan Coleman, Director of Business Development at MongoDB, has been part of the company's Business Development team for over two years, working with various partners integrating MongoDB into their value proposition. Before joining MongoDB, he worked at Alfresco and had some experience using MongoDB, which he learned mostly through self-education and a week of technical training. Brendan enjoys his role due to the variety it brings, allowing him to work with different parts of the organization and collaborating with a high-quality team. He finds the company culture and people exciting, and is proud to be part of a team that has made significant accomplishments in a short time. When not working, Brendan enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and music, particularly the Beastie Boys and Lorde.
