MongoDB is launching a new six-part webinar series called Back to Basics, designed for individuals with a technical background who want to learn about MongoDB. The series will cover topics such as NoSQL, document-based applications, schema design, indexing techniques, the aggregation framework, and production deployment. Participants are expected to have some programming experience and should be familiar with relational database technology. The webinars will provide a gentle introduction to MongoDB, covering its differences from other databases, how to build an application in MongoDB, and how to manage performance. The series will also cover advanced topics such as document validation, text and geospatial indexes, and production deployment tools. The whole series will be recorded and made available for review by all participants.
