The winner of the 2018 MongoDB Hacktoberfest Best use of Stitch contest was Stephanie Orpilla with her application MorningPages, which uses MongoDB Stitch to connect a browser-based writing application to a MongoDB database. The application aims to improve users' creativity by ensuring daily writing practice and features a minimalist user interface. It was built using React on the front end and leverages MongoDB Stitch's integration with MongoDB's Atlas Database as a Service for seamless data storage. The contest aimed to recognize participants who creatively utilized MongoDB Stitch, and all participants will receive a MongoDB T-Shirt.
