Kindred Tech uses AI and MongoDB to Fight Child Exploitation in India

India's law enforcement agencies are combating a significant rise in online child exploitation by adopting Katalyst, an AI-driven digital investigation platform developed by Kindred Tech, which automates and prioritizes cybertip reports to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Katalyst integrates advanced case management tools, a secure media library, AI-driven media categorization, and automated forensic support to streamline investigations and improve cross-jurisdictional responses. Powered by MongoDB Atlas, Katalyst's AI-ready infrastructure facilitates the processing of large data volumes, allowing investigators to focus more on safeguarding children than data management. A pilot project with Kerala Police's Counter Child Sexual Exploitation Centre resulted in 96 arrests, 20 children safeguarded, and 18 international referrals, earning recognition for its innovative technology use. Kindred Tech plans to expand Katalyst to more Indian states and enhance its capabilities with MongoDB Atlas Vector Search for real-time cross-border investigations and predictive analytics.
