MongoDB has launched the MongoDB Application Delivery Certification, an evolution of its System Integrators Certification Program, which has already certified over 18,000 associates and architects. This new certification aims to equip developers and application delivery leads with the skills to design, develop, and deploy modern solutions at scale, featuring online learning, hands-on labs, and a proctored exam. Piloted with partners like Accenture and Capgemini, the program offers flexibility and self-paced learning, focusing on optimizing storage, queries, and the use of Atlas Vector Search, among other skills. Meanwhile, Ahamove, Vietnam's largest on-demand delivery company, has leveraged MongoDB Atlas since 2019 to scale operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and innovate in Vietnam’s rapidly growing e-commerce and food delivery sectors with services like geospatial queries and generative AI chatbots. In a leadership transition, Dev Ittycheria, MongoDB's CEO, announced his retirement effective November 2025, with Chirantan “CJ” Desai set to succeed him. Desai, who brings substantial growth-at-scale experience from his roles at ServiceNow and Cloudflare, is expected to guide MongoDB through its next phase, focusing on the rise of AI and data-intensive applications, while Ittycheria will remain on the Board to ensure a smooth transition.
