Unlock new workflows with smart triggers, powered by Jev
Blog post from Modem
Modem has introduced Smart Triggers, which use TypeSafe’s Jev decision model to evaluate incoming customer events against customizable natural-language conditions before launching a full agent workflow. By filtering high-volume sources such as support tickets, calls, Slack messages, pull requests, and feedback in under a second at a fraction of the cost of an agent run, the feature allows automations to act only on relevant events and reduces usage credits. Users can create these workflows through Modem’s app, Slack, Discord, or integrations with coding agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and MCP-compatible tools. Example uses include escalating broken-feature reports, identifying cancellation risk, logging customer commitments, alerting teams to billing, security, or data-loss issues, capturing customer workarounds, and filing issues for checkout errors. Modem positions Smart Triggers as part of its broader effort to help organizations detect, route, and address customer concerns efficiently across their communication channels.
