Modem’s latest updates expand its agent, topic management, integrations, dashboard, and people-management capabilities. The agent now supports natural-language semantic topic search, selectable query date ranges, clearer tool-status labels, scheduled-task queries, approval prompts for write actions, and in-chat feedback submission. Topics can be merged while retaining history and automatically linked to relevant GitHub pull requests, while issue and pull request results appear as interactive cards with status, priority, and metadata. Additional improvements include automatic joining of matching Slack channels, remembered default Linear teams for issue creation, shareable read-only conversation transcripts, a fix for bulk selection on People and Companies pages, smarter profile name enrichment, and personalized onboarding emails for new team members.
