Now you can hide events and properties

Mixpanel has enhanced its functionality to allow users to hide outdated or incorrect event and property names from dropdown lists when segmenting reports or creating custom events, without affecting the underlying data. This feature helps maintain a clean and relevant user interface by preventing irrelevant entries, such as typographical errors, from cluttering dropdown menus. To hide a property, users can navigate through the Project Settings and Data Management tabs, selecting the specific property to conceal. It's important to note that hiding is reversible and doesn't delete any data, allowing users to manage visibility as needed. Despite hidden settings, all data remains accessible in Mixpanel’s Live View report, ensuring transparency about what data is being transmitted. However, this feature does not affect the visibility of properties in People reports.
