Automations, rebuilt
Blog post from Mintlify
Mintlify has launched a revamped version of its automations, designed to streamline tasks such as synchronizing content with code changes, generating changelogs, maintaining translations, and more, based on feedback from early users. The updated automations eliminate the need for users to write and maintain prompts, as Mintlify now manages the underlying logic and continuously improves it. The new system is more user-friendly, requiring just two clicks to enable an automation, and includes pre-tested, opinionated automations for tasks frequently encountered by teams, such as updating content when pull requests merge, drafting changelogs, synchronizing translations, fixing broken links, and auditing SEO metadata. Each automation comes with sensible defaults, but configurations can be customized to suit specific project needs. This approach aims to reduce the maintenance burden on teams, allowing them to focus on other priorities, while Mintlify ensures the automations remain effective and up-to-date.
