Announcing the First Snowflake-Native Data Observability Application

Snowflake has announced a native application framework for developing apps directly within a customer's Snowflake instance at Summit 2022. Metaplane is the first Snowflake-native data observability application, currently available in private preview for customers in us-east-1. The new framework allows applications to be built and deployed directly within a customer's Snowflake account, keeping data secure and reducing costs. Metaplane aims to help all companies trust their data by providing core features such as schema change, automated anomaly detection on row count and freshness of tables/views.
