In an exploration to find the perfect travel itinerary before the end of 2022, data from Google Maps and Euromonitor International's city arrivals research were analyzed to identify the top-rated attractions in the most visited destinations of 2019. The analysis focused on the top 100 city destinations, with Asia accounting for the majority, reflecting its large population. Key findings revealed that Hong Kong, Bangkok, Macau, Singapore, and London were among the most visited, with Asia receiving 60% of all visits. The data also indicated regional differences in the number of reviews, with European and American cities having more contributors. Among the attractions, London's received the highest average rating, and Macau the lowest, with various cities known for specific types of attractions, such as Bangkok for its temples and London for its museums. This research aimed to inspire travel planning by providing insights into global travel patterns and popular attractions.
