Some things to know before trying out version 0.30

Recent updates to Metabase have introduced significant changes, including the organization of dashboards and pulses within collections, allowing for better management as users accumulate numerous items. The previous dedicated pages for Dashboards and Pulses have been removed, and these elements can now be created via a plus button in the interface. Users can now create sub-collections, establishing a hierarchy that aids organization, and can also utilize a new app-wide search bar for quick access to any dashboard, collection, question, or pulse. The revamped homepage features sections like "Start Here" for pinned dashboards, "Our Analytics" for an overview of collections, and "Our Data" for connected databases. Upon upgrading, existing dashboards, pulses, and questions not in collections will be migrated into new "Migrated" collections with admin-only access, requiring permission adjustments for user accessibility. Users are advised to back up their application database before upgrading and are encouraged to provide feedback on the pre-release.
