Metabase, an open-source data analytics tool, has recognized the need to accommodate its global user base by making the platform translatable into various languages. Initially announced last year, this multilingual initiative has gained momentum with several translations currently in progress, largely driven by community contributions. A noteworthy achievement is the near-complete Spanish translation, primarily accomplished by Joe Bordes. Users can now access Metabase in Spanish by adjusting their browser language settings, provided they are using the latest version, 0.30. To further accelerate translation efforts, Metabase has simplified the process by allowing users to contribute through the POEditor platform, which requires no technical expertise.
