Interactive embedding was preferred to protect customer data, requiring specific URL authorizations and session management configurations. The embedding process involved setting up the dashboard URL in the Customer360 app, formatting it for Metabase, and authorizing relevant URLs in Metabase’s settings to ensure smooth integration. Additionally, certain Metabase UI components were hidden for a cleaner appearance in Zendesk, demonstrating the flexibility and practicality of embedded analytics in improving operational efficiency.
