Vislet – Visualize Geographic Data in Memgraph Lab
Blog post from Memgraph
Vislet is a tool integrated into Memgraph Lab that allows for the visualization of graph data with geographic components by synchronizing vis-network and Leaflet to display nodes and edges on a world map. Geographic nodes, identified by latitude and longitude properties, are automatically detected and visualized, while non-geographic nodes remain hidden unless the map background is disabled. The tool offers features like panning, zooming, and maintaining node positions, enhancing the visualization of datasets such as neighboring countries. Vislet transforms the coordinate systems of vis-network and Leaflet into a unified system, ensuring accurate representation on the map. Although Vislet is in its early stages and allows for high customization, further development is anticipated to enhance its functionality and robustness.
