Whalesync adds new integrations using Membrane’s framework

Whalesync, a Y Combinator and VC-backed company founded in 2021, specializes in synchronizing data across crucial business tools like Salesforce and Airtable without the need for custom data pipelines or software engineers. Initially, building connectors was a time-consuming process, taking up to 3.5 months, but the adoption of Membrane's platform significantly expedited this process. Membrane offered the flexibility, bi-directional sync, and real-time webhooks that Whalesync required, enabling them to integrate new connectors quickly without sacrificing depth. The use of Membrane's Connector Builder allowed Whalesync to create a Webflow connector in just a few days. This enhancement has allowed Whalesync to shift focus from building individual connectors to improving their core functionality of data transformation and synchronization. Looking ahead, Whalesync plans to release 20 new connectors this year and aims to expand this to hundreds, leveraging improvements in AI capabilities for connector building.
