A smoother, more powerful editing experience in Studio

Mapbox Studio has undergone a series of feature updates aimed at enhancing user experience by making interactions more intuitive and efficient. The layout has been streamlined from a three-tab to a two-tab structure, integrating components and layers for smoother navigation. A new "Global" tab has been introduced to consolidate global properties, and a right-click context menu now provides additional space for new features and layer actions. Components now benefit from increased visibility and usability, allowing users to see all properties at once and edit typography and color values directly. These updates also include frictionless overrides, a revamped map selector UI for easier layer and component association, and a new copy-paste functionality that allows users to transfer properties between layers, including copying a layer's JSON for external use. These changes aim to improve the overall UI and UX, particularly enhancing the editing experience for the new Mapbox Standard style, currently in beta, and expected to be available upon general release.
