The icons are adaptable, adjusting to both light and dark map settings, and can be customized further with interactive features for enhanced user interaction, such as serving pop-ups or saving landmarks. Currently, 1,600 landmark icons are available in over 40 cities globally, with more cities being added regularly, providing practical and aesthetic value to various applications, from in-car navigation to fitness apps. These features are immediately accessible in Mapbox Standard without requiring extensive updates, allowing developers to integrate them seamlessly into their projects.
