Boundaries 4.7: Major Europe refresh and expanded global boundary coverage

Mapbox Boundaries 4.7 adds 91,701 new boundaries and updates 264,647 across 62 countries in Europe, Asia, and South America, with major changes including a full European data refresh, updated Indian districts, expanded neighborhood coverage in Turkey, and international and worldview boundary revisions in several countries. The release introduces 24,466 high-resolution, street-aligned UK postcode boundaries and replaces the UK’s former NUTS statistical geography with International Territorial Levels, reflecting current national reporting standards. Continuing the version-specific tileset identifiers introduced in 4.6, the update gives customers more control over adopting individual dataset releases. Mapbox Boundaries contains more than five million curated global boundaries and is available through vector tilesets for API-based applications or flat GeoJSON files for self-hosted and analytical workflows, supporting uses such as business intelligence, logistics, planning, reporting, and spatial analysis.
