Mapbox has made significant strides in expanding its global geolocation data coverage by adding address data for 11 new countries and improving coverage for 25 existing ones, resulting in over 47 million new addresses and a total of more than 380 million households and businesses worldwide. This expansion aims to fulfill Mapbox's vision of providing comprehensive geolocation data for every household and business, thereby supporting developers with the tools needed to build solutions without competing for consumer-facing applications. Over the past two years, Mapbox has increased its support for delivery and routing from 18 to 64 countries, helping companies like Instacart, Toyota, and Viasat to expand their services in regions such as Australia, Canada, Europe, and Brazil. The company's commitment to a detailed and accurate data set is reflected in its address coverage, which now surpasses some leading location services in the U.S. and Europe by 10 to 30% and 5 to 30%, respectively, depending on the region.
