Now Mailtrap Customers Can Test Email Templates via API
Blog post from Mailtrap
Mailtrap has expanded its Email Testing API to support Email Templates, allowing customers to route template emails to a Sandbox inbox for testing before production delivery. Previously, users could only use the Send Test feature to send a template to the account owner’s email address, which lacked the broader diagnostic capabilities of the Email Testing product. By configuring the testing API endpoint, inbox ID, and inbox API token in their integration, users can inspect spam scores, rendering across devices, text and HTML versions, email-client HTML compatibility, variable rendering, links, images, attachments, and automated testing flows. The feature is available to all Mailtrap users through any programming language capable of making HTTP requests, with SDK support for Email Templates currently in development.
