Summary

Mailtrap has expanded its email template capabilities across Email API/SMTP, Email Testing, and Email Marketing, following the earlier release of its Email Testing API for templates. Users can now create and edit templates through either an HTML editor or a no-code drag-and-drop builder featuring AI-assisted headings, text, buttons, and images, responsive design tools, template-library options, and support for personalization variables. Integration has been simplified through a unified tab that provides product-specific credentials, allowing templates to be tested in the Email Testing staging sandbox before being sent in production through Email API/SMTP. The Email Testing environment also enables users to inspect and validate template variables, view template names, and access templates for editing. Templates are now supported by Mailtrap’s Email Sending, Bulk Sending, and Email Testing APIs for use with any language capable of making HTTP requests.
