Lovable's new Agent Mode, now in beta, is designed to autonomously think, plan, and execute tasks, significantly reducing build error rates and unwanted changes while enhancing goal achievement. Users can enable Agent Mode by opting in through their project's settings, with access being gradually rolled out. It introduces advanced capabilities, such as searching codebases, reading files with context, inspecting logs, and searching the web in real-time to autonomously handle complex tasks like adding features, fixing bugs, and integrating systems without user intervention. Unlike the fixed-cost model of Default and Chat Modes, Agent Mode employs a usage-based pricing system, where costs are determined by the complexity of requests, ensuring users pay proportionally for the service used. This new mode aims to make Lovable function more like a real developer by interpreting user requests, exploring codebases, and auto-fixing issues independently.
