Summary

Lovable has introduced Deploy on AWS in private preview, enabling Enterprise customers to run Lovable-built production applications and sensitive app data within their own AWS accounts while continuing to use Lovable’s existing development environment. The deployment creates a dedicated VPC containing components such as an EKS-based data plane and preview sandboxes, Lambda-hosted dynamic app services, S3 storage, Aurora PostgreSQL databases, integration secrets, and logging systems, with private connectivity to internal systems through VPC peering. Lovable manages installation, updates, and maintenance through a runner using least-privilege IAM roles, versioned Helm charts, signed container images, and an outbound mTLS-encrypted connection, while customers retain AWS encryption, access, governance, and network controls. Building-related services, including the editor, agent, chat, project history, workspace administration, billing, and AI model requests, remain in Lovable’s multi-tenant service, though chat and project history are encrypted and customers can use their own AWS KMS keys. The option is intended for organizations with requirements that applications and data remain in their own infrastructure, and Deutsche Telekom is cited as an early customer using the model for internal tools connected to sensitive company data.
