Summary

Lovable offers three deployment approaches for organizations using Microsoft environments: deploying applications within a customer’s own Azure subscription, using Microsoft’s Copilot Managed Runtime, or hosting applications on Lovable while connecting to Microsoft services. Deploy on Azure, currently in private preview for select Enterprise customers, keeps application workloads, data, databases, storage, logs, secrets, and connectivity infrastructure within a dedicated Azure virtual network, enabling private access to internal systems through VNet peering. Lovable continues to provide the editor, AI agent, project history, workspace settings, and AI services, while customer infrastructure teams retain ownership of the Azure footprint and can apply their encryption, access, container-scanning, SSO, SCIM, auditing, and security policies. The Azure deployment uses components including AKS, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Container Registry, and a Lovable-managed runner, which connects outbound to Lovable through mutually authenticated encryption rather than requiring inbound network access. Copilot Managed Runtime hosts internal apps in a Microsoft tenant under tenant policies but has feature limitations, while Lovable-hosted apps provide the full platform feature set and Microsoft connectors for organizations able to run their applications outside their Azure subscription.
